No offense Schlitz but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I'm conservatively twice as bright as you are.

Smart money says so.

Nah, you just exposed yourself as a dumbass, old, senile cac Mel.

Played this for a friend of mine who knows his shyt. Halfway through the first verse he says "what's up with his flow? He sounds off beat". I've listened once, I think it's a solid project. The off beat flow isn't pervasive throughout the album. The production an feel of the album is nice too.

Problem is, I put it on an MP3 cd for the car along with Ghost's entire discography (ended up being two discs) and once "Ironman" came on - I havent had any motivation to get back to the new shyt.

Those opera choruses are type corny too. Those were my first impression. Off beat, pedestrian verses, too many slow, plodding tracks and weird opera singing.

I only have heard it the one time but those were the first things I noticed that didn't sit well.

The faster songs were the highlights. I know the Apollo Brown version will be my twist.

My opinion was worth its weight in gold when i was in agreement in your other super stan thread though, huh?
You cornball. Stop blindly jocking you superfan goof. You look real sick in this thread. You're the embarrassing Wu warrior right now that everyone references all the time. Shame on you.

I do hear the offbeat criticism, but did anybody else notice some of the beats are "offbeat":mindblown:

Still a good album though. I like the fact that he's trying something different as opposed to trying to remake his classic albums. The whole thing plays out like a movie and I think the beats and his offbeat flow work well with the overall concept of the album.
