This potentially could be the best Finals ina decade though the 3-1 shyt despite my feelings about it was inarguably a great series and an infamous moment in professional basketball..

And I agree with the 2nd part of your post. We’re at the apex of this “reactionary, hot take era” and this thread, IG/Twitter are prime examples of this.. and I don’t see shyt changing anytime soon
There's no way this finals could be better than Cleveland/GSW in 2016 :mjlol:

I agree with those who feel game 2 is a must win for TOR. You have to take advantage of a hobbled GS squad without KD and Iguodala (allegedly).

We’ve come back down 2-0 against a 60 win team who only lost 2 in a row once all year

We came back down 2-1 after losing home court to a team many viewed as having the best starting lineup in the nba

We came back down 1-0 against the hottest team entering the playoffs in Orlando

But suddenly up 1-0 game two is a must win for us

As long as the Warriors keep playing the "Death lineup", this will happen again
Absolutely not. Draymond is a very, very overrated individual defender but Siakam will never make 11 shots in a row (including one not even looking at the basket) again. Kerr is absolutely terrible at in game adjustments but he’s usually decent from game to game.

Wonder if they’re gonna put Cousins or Looney in the starting lineup, obviously Jordan Bell at the 5 is not going to work this series

its just the experience and defense

It's like people forget Kawhi (and also Danny Green too) has played in 2 finals and one of those being a game 7 in his 2nd year in the league and also has been to the WCF on 2 other occasions as well. He's hella experienced and know what it takes to get it done.

Whether the Raptors win this series or not, I had changed my pick to Raptors in 7 prior to the game yesterday, they ARE NOT intimidated by GSW with Durant or without Durant.

Against Philly they said that Embiid and dem just played bad and couldn’t get it going.

Against the Bucks they said that the role players didn’t show up and Giannis was undisciplined.

Game One here and now folks are saying the Warriors offence was sloppy and disjointed.

Maybe just maybe the Raptors are really fukking good. Yes, we got a lot of series left and it can still go either way but a lot of y’all nikkas need to wake up to the fact the this Raptors team is really fukking good.
They are a defensive superteam. They got like all defensive guys at every position and even the guys they bring off the bench can defend like FVF, Ibaka and Powell. They really don't have a defender you can pick on. They rarely make mistakes and v. GS it's impossible not to and they found a way to limit mistakes.

The best defensive team I've ever seen. I used to think it was the Spurs that won the title v. Miami and that's still the best defensive team I've seen in the RS but this team is special special on D.
