Kerr deserves A LOT of credit that he doesn't get. He's by no means perfect (because no coach is), but the amount of criticism he gets is ridiculous. He's treated as if he's a bottom-level league coach, and not someone who's closing in on his fourth title in his first five seasons as coach.

And the "very good reason" is because just like you, they display a combination of: jealousy, ignorance, stupidity, seeking validation from like-minded idiots, and an overall lack of understanding of the game.



And of course, the fact that players typically don't get the recognition they deserve when they're active, it's only after they retire and time erases their bad qualities and their good qualities are romanticized that they start getting recognized more, and in some cases, overrated.
