This guy gets it. Having KD obviously makes the Warriors better but there is such a thing as diminishing returns when you’re loading up on talent because there’s only one ball and only five guys on the court at a time. KD changes GSWs style of play to one that is more traditional with less ball movement which I’m actually quite certain Toronto would have figured out. The individual talent of KD might have still prevailed but it wouldn’t be no cakewalk, especially considering the Raptors have Kawhi and Siakam to guard KD with. Raptors are really struggling guarding Steph as a first option and the backdoor that results from chasing him. Without KD the Raptors defence doesn’t need to move as much which allows them to trap and blitz...their bread and butter defensively.Chris Paul was worse this year and Rockets simply bytched up. They weren't as good as last year's version but that shouldn't have mattered.
A healthy Toronto (Kawhi) vs a healthy GSW probably goes 7 like last years Rockets vs Warriors, since Raps are comparable to that Rockets squad but physically superior, and nothing about this Warriors team prior to KD's injury made me think they were significantly improved. But all the hypotheticals is a moot point now
Threw down $500 on raps win

Stop it slime, with KD GS would wash y’all

Yeah theres def an asterisk on that title. Refs went crazy.Toronto is a good team and a good city. They just got fortunate. Don't worry, there are no asterisks for beating a depleted opponent. The 2018-2019 NBA season will belong to The 6 forever.
I'd turn up and ignore the haters if I were you. That's a word of advice from a heat fan who had to deal with folks invalidating our titles going back to 2006 with "Dwhistle".

Toronto goes through scoring droughts like no other. If golden state has two extra shooters(namely KD and Klay) out there to take those open 3 pointers that lesser shooters like Iggy, Draymond and Livingston were getting, than GS eventually runs them out of the building in the 4th quarter of Game 3. KD just adds to another tough guard for Siakam, Gasol and Ibaka when GS goes small. Golden State depleted is still getting 109 as is. The pace would favor GS if they had more firepower, especially since Toronto has been liberal from deep. KD and Klay are two good defenders and a combined 50 points and combined 9 3-pointers that Toronto doesn't have to deal with. All of a sudden, Lowry, Van Fleet, and Danny Green can get busy and get buckets. Siakam or Kawhi don't have a tough assignment(with no KD).Chris Paul was worse this year and Rockets simply bytched up. They weren't as good as last year's version but that shouldn't have mattered.

Curry is drawing doubles as is and still scoring at a high rate and sucking in the defense. But If they play KD straight up and don't double him in ISO, he'd feast on whomever was guarding him, while they'd still have a healthy and on point curry to deal with. Diffirence between Houston and Toronto is, Houston and PJ Tucker/Patrick Beverly did a good job on Curry. So far in this series, Curry is still getting his, and still doing it efficiently despite Toronto's defense. It literally looks like if they had one or two more shooters on the floor, things would be diffirent. Curry is averaging close to 35 despite being the focal point and the sole true offensive threat, for the first time in a long time. And he's still averaging 30+.Idk because when KD is on the team, they post him up iso and the offensive scheme doesn't prompt open 3s as much unless Raptors double, which is something Houston didn't do much.
And as much as Raptors go on droughts, the reason Clips came back big is because GSW went on a drought and the seesaw nature of GSWvsRockets was bc GSW went on droughts and/or Houston went on extended scoring runs, which Toronto is capable of.
Plus GSW current strategy is to double KL, even if Iggy or Klay is on him.. so unless they'd just let KD guard him straight up, Toronto is going to get their looks just like the Rockets got looks with Harden attacking.
Like I'm literally looking at what Warriors were before the KD injury in the first 2 rounds this year and last years WCFs, and I don't see them dominating a healthy Raps. Again, hypotheticals
Tbh, it is premature to even talk this unless Raps win tho
This guy goes hard at Trump supporters but is falling for facebook type of graphic like them.Information is as accessible as ever yet people still refuse to fact-check
