Would you give Kawhi the same grade ?

yes kahwi has been inconsistent as well in these finals. He really had 1 great game and that was game 4. The stats are misleading because he's been getting a ton of free throws and is only shooting 43% from ther field and 38% from 3 which is great but a far cry from where he was before earlier in the playoffs.

I watched that first quarter again and jesus that was everything a Finals game should be, like watching a heavyweight prize fight. KD, Steph, Klay out the gate banging 5/5 on contested fukk you 3s, Toronto responding with tenacity and body shots via Gasol, Ibaka, Kawhi in the paint. Was looking like a war of attrition between scorching perimeter shot making vs domination in the paint and boards.

But once KD injured himself again, i kinda tuned out a bit; shyt was just deflating. Raps seemed more shell-shocked by the injury than GS was tbh. It still "felt" like Raps were gonna inevitably win after the injry, and that ish was inevitable when Kawhi had his 4th quarter run, but man did the Raps drop the ball hard lol and GS been there too many times to give them chances like that.

I dunno. Raptors got awful tight in that game 5 when they looked like they were gonna close em out. Strange things happen when you give teams new life

Yea, you never know. Granted, Raps "should" win tomorrow, since they were up double digits in the finals seconds of all 3 of their wins, but when the games can come down to who is hitting their 3s.. you never know when someone like Iggy, Green, etc may have a birthday game with all those open 3s they are intentionally getting... or if the Raps get cold again.
