I was in the Air Force with a nikka from Yellowstone on the Southside and that nikka was loud as fukk about it(like y’all TX nikkas be) and he said Pop too. I remember specifically because this isn’t the first time this conversation has been had. Also, a young cat from Houston came to my Bro’s school (‘98) from SW/Alief that was BD just like all of our hoods in NLR and he said Pop just like us too. The only thing different was he said Slab, Maaan, and hold up! all the time.

This is still confusing to me. Say you got strawberry soda and Coca Cola in your fridge and you ask your wife, kid or friend to bring you a “coke” - you say the name in that instance or just coke and leave them confused lol
