Hey pals
2004-2016
12 years kobe had without shaq to get more than 2 scoring titles.
First 2 years he was riding the bench. Not a good look for someone who is supposed to be a better scorer than Jordan.
His 3rd season he started, and still averaged below 20. Better scorer?
The other 2 times, you're making up excuses for him
5 seasons averaging below 20 ppg.
Pathetic.
Jesus christ. I hate breaking down shyt when the posts are right in this fukking thread.nikka you said that Kobe didn't prove the claim that he's a GOAT to be true. I said that he did and you said "that doesn't mean he's the greatest ever" but that was never the point.....the point is that he is ONE of the GOATs and yes he did prove that to be true with his resume. No one is claiming Kobe is the single goat
Giving an objective analysis is having a mental illness now?Gil got a mental illness I'm serious
Excuses. When you're a GOAT, all you need are your stats and accomplishments to speak for themselves and hold up against anyone else's.You're on some try hard shyt. There was better scorers and better defenses in Kobe's era than MJ's. And Kobe generally sacrificed scoring as many points as possible to win games, he held back when he had Shaq and Pau.
Kobe's 3rd season he was 20 yrs old and put up 19ppg. MJ was a junior in college at that time, FOH>.
And nobody is making excuses they are logical points. Why would Kobe score 20+ppg as a first/second year player when his coach won't start him cuz they're a playoff team? And even them, Kobe dropped 30+ off the bench his second season.
And to count the post-achilles seasons is what truly is pathetic.
There's nothing objective about curry being an bigger offensive threat on the court than Jordan, if anything it's half ass subjective and lazy.Giving an objective analysis is having a mental illness now?
Actually, this makes a lot of sense considering the majority of the posters on this board constantly lie, manipulate, and revise, to protect their heroes (Kobe, MJ, and Bron), every single day, which is the real mental insanity, which you have come to know as the norm, but when someone tries to have an actual genuine discussion you think they're the ones with the problem.

When you're not a GOAT, well....we see posts like yours, littered with excuses, ifs, buts, and what had happened was![]()

- Your buddy said Jordan's untouchable legacy was due to marketing from stern, making Jordan out to be a god amongst men.
- I said bird literally called him god in his second season. That ain't got shyt to do with marketing or stern.
- Your buddy then said well, shaq called kobe the greatest ever
The fukk does that have to do with stern and marketing Jordan? Neither cases have shyt to do with marketing.
Sit this one out, buddy. Or pay attention so I don't have to break simple shyt down for you.

Who said they do?Man get the fukk out of here. Phil Jackson literally said he told Kobe to stop scoring so much in 2001 which cost him the scoring title. You wanna leave out all context to make your dumbass argument. Another nikka sitting on the net yapping about shyt ACTUAL COACHES AND PLAYERS settled a long time ago.
The general public doesn't think MJ is the goat because of a fukking Bird quote from the mid-80s. The narrative and mythology of MJ does have a lot to do with Stern and marketing so your entire argument is shyt anyway
30.1 ppg, Highest regular season scoring average in nba historyWell if thats the case than Kareem, Karl, Kobe and Bron are all better scorers than MJ. They scored more points, period. Nevermind the fact MJ played less years, nah, we'll leave out that excuse and context. Basketball is about scoring points and those 4 men scored more than MJ. Mike's the 5th best scorer ever and the 5th best at something can't be the greatest. /thread.
Did MJ stretch defenses all over the halfcourt like Steph, with and without the ball? Did MJ manipulate entire defensive schemes like Steph? Did defenses force the ball out of MJ's hands because they were scared of his 3-pt shooting and the value of it, and force his teammates to beat them? Yes or no?There's nothing objective about curry being an bigger offensive threat on the court than Jordan, if anything it's half ass subjective and lazy.
Yes teams did cater half court defenses to jordan, ask the pistons they had an entire concept for jordan, 3pt shoot wasn't even utilized majority of Jordan's life lazy ass analysisDid MJ stretch defenses all over the halfcourt like Steph, with and without the ball? So you admit that 3-pt shooting wasn't utilized back then, like it is today, so you're aware that defenses weren't stretched beyond the arc, like they are today, and yet you still can't identify that because Steph stretches the defense more that he has more impact on that end? And this isn't just with the ball in hand, this is when he doesn't even have the ball too; Steph's off-ball movements can create wide-open shots and he doesn't even need to touch the ball on the possession.Yes teams did cater half court defenses to jordan, ask the pistons they had an entire concept for jordan, 3pt shoot wasn't even utilized majority of Jordan's life lazy ass analysis
Curry fans tried taking the success Durant brought to the Warriors and crediting Curry.
His greatest achievement is beating an injured riddled Cavs team in 2015.
Curry also known as the guy responsible for THE BIGGEST CHOKEJOB IN NBA FINALS HISTORY.![]()
