Josiah said he makes more than league minimum NBA players, and they make 1.2 mill. He's the brains of the show, comes up with the topics, gets there first, stays late and works from home. Underdog is worth over 1.2 billion, so they shouldn't be tripping over the cost of the show since it's one of their biggest advertisers. They should be treating it like Stake does Kick.com.

Yep and the clip posted above, Gil basically just said what you said. What Underdog pays everyone is way more than what the channel makes. Gil said the channel makes around 3M a year. He said he could tell from the way underdog was talking they were gonna cut ppl, sorta name dropped Lexi as one of the ppl that would be cut if they didnt do the 2 days a week think and tried to buck and get more days or w/e.

Josiah probably makes 3M by himself. You know skip getting paid a lot. A good nugget is the sponsors. It seems the basketball show isnt getting the sponsors they thought it would and they may be tried to use Skip/Gridiron's potential for a package deal with that too for the channel. Gil said Underdog was gonna give Gridiron it's own channel and stuff at first and he suggested they just use the Gil's arena channel for it.

Tbh, the lack of sponsors doesn’t surprise me. Not to put (all) the blame on any one person but we’ve all seen how it can turn into a complete shyt-show whenever McCants or Kenyon get triggered. The yelling, screaming over the same topic for 20 minutes gets awkward, exhausting, and old real quick.

Josiah and Gilbert are the heart of the show, whereas the others… good BTS insight on their own careers but day-to-day ball analysis? Meh.

i.e.We know Brandon can’t really articulate himself, Kenyon has temper tantrums, McCants is knowledgeable half the time but just be saying shyt/showing his insecurities the other half, Lexi and Sheryl are just kinda there, Young can barely speak coherently, etc.

To be honest, a Gil's Arena of Joe Tsai, Gilbert, Pierce, Beasley... with the final spot being one of Jennings, KMart, McCants,Young (i think they're all mid and bushable tbh) would be a big upgrade. Sheryl needs to be bushed tho imo. The young chick who plays in the W, Lexi iirc, she's cool

A perfect group would be Gil, Josiah, Mccants, and somebody like Norris Cole. Norris Cole is excellent when hes on. Cole is well spoken, and he isnt a yes man.

Swaggy and Kenyon csnt string together a coherent sentence. Its super annoying listening to them. If Nick could actually have an intellectual conversation, he’d be the star of the show because he’s funny and isnt a yes man. Nick the only one who wasnt buying the replace Kobe with T-Mac bullshyt.

Kenyon is wild bias and gets loud every time he thinks right. Carmelo and Kidd are literal GODs in Kenyon’s mind, yet he attacks the other cast members for favoring players.

Lexi Brown is fukking useless. She doesnt even watch ball.

Jennings is OK. I fukk with B Even tho he doesnt say much at times.

Sheryl Swoops is only good for wnba talk.

Norris has been excellent every time he's on. He kinda plays the straight man to all the clown shyt. You also know he's gonna have some excellent insight whenever they have a serious guest on. I do like Nick, even if he's a moron, he's very entertaining and plays well off Gil.

I’d say Josiah and Gil are the heart of the show and the modern Ernie and Chuck, so to speak.

To me, among the rest McCants and Cole are the closest to a “Kenny” (or rather a contrast/antagonist to Gil) however Rashad’s problem is similar to Kenyon’s where he has his own extreme biases and gets super emotional and loud when ish aint going his way.

When Rashad is at his best is when he’s talking in-game adjustments like how a team should guard xy and z. With Cole, he’s good… he just doesn’t have an engaging personality and he also dikkrides Spo the same way Kenyon does AI and Melo.

I actually feel your boy Pierce would be a good 3rd piece. Altho he would still have the Cali bias, he was good enough as a player (and his own biggest fan) that wouldn’t just be another Bron (Josiah) Kobe (Gil) or Melo/AI (KM) dikkrider. He also has a bit more respect for modern players, which I feel would also be a good contrast.
