KD isn't better than Bron or even AD. He's probably at the same level as Harden. His play isn't as resilient in the playoffs as Bron and AD.. Bron will give you elite volume scoring and creation and AD will provide elite scoring and elite defense, KD is prone to having some inefficient playoff series against elite defenses and he doesn't have the playmaking or defense to fall back on that Bron and AD have respectively.
Bron is aging and KD is in his prime. If KD puts forth the effort he could be as good a defender as old Bron. The only negative he has is playmaking but his scoring/shooting and youth advantage should surpass that in my view, cause he can go hard 35-40 minutes every night and Bron can't. It's a young season though, hard to grade them for certain.

And KD is better right now than he was when he won MVP and finished 2nd multiple times. AD hasn't even sniffed that yet. He's a great defender but he's nowhere near KD on the offensive end.

I'd probably say....

1.KD
2. Bron
3. AD
4. Kyrie
5. Harden.
6. Dennis
7. KCP
8. Gasol
9. Harris
10. Trez
I think you're overrating Schroeder. I'd put KCP and Harris 6/7 in some order and I might put Trez as #8 cause of his offensive rebounding and because I expect Gasol to fade or get hurt by the playoffs.

And still shooting 55% from two and 36% from three. :wow:

AD played at an absurd level during their championship run last season. I think he had a better postseason than any season KD had before joining GSW. He averaged 28 PPG on 67% TS with an insane midrange percentage and DPOY impact. Judging from this early season that shooting appears to be sustainable. Call me crazy but I can’t see post Achilles injury KD having the same level of impact as AD.

AD played very well but that was one postseason. KD has clearly played better than AD over the course of his career and he looks better than AD right now. Season is young though.

Vogel is a hell of a coach.
Folk were doubting me when I said after the hire that Vogel would be the best coach Bron had ever played for. Spolstra is very good now but from 2010-14 he wasn't at the level that Vogel is at. shyt just feels so much more secure on that side of things.

If you’re just comparing them based on how they look this season. Yea KD is better...but keep in mind Bron is coasting big time. Last time I saw those 2 in the finals Bron was the better player

Bron is simply not the player he was three years ago. Then again, I didn't expect him to be as good as he was last year...but he's still on a clear decline from his 2012-2018 ultimate-peak. He's just trying to hold on to his broader 2005-202x general peak.

Like I said, small sample size but I would be shocked if Bron was better than KD this year.

nikka chasing ghosts going for the MVP padding his resume
He's not going for the MVP, there's zero chance he'll win MVP playing just 32 minutes/game and shooting just 18 times. Bron's gonna finish the season with his most underwhelming stats since his rookie year. With all the shots that Schroeder/Trez/Kuzma/THT are taking, Bron probably won't even finish 1st-team All-NBA and might not even make 2nd-team.

1st-team forwards will probably be KD and Giannis.

2nd-team forwards will be a fight between Bron, Tatum, Kawhi, and AD.
