Snoop was the biggest star on the planet 92-94.

Pac had the movie roles, hist 1st 2 albums, etc that was from 91-94, but Snoop was still the bigger star.

But Pac didn't become a mega-star until Me Against the World, and he was in prison at that point. That was around 95.

Snoop was still a star, but he had the murder case hanging over his head. He was kinda in limbo. Plus, East coast was really moving strong.

Biggie was becoming the biggest star at that point as a solo artist.

When Pac came to Death Row and blew up with All Eyez and got into that rivalry with Biggie/Bad Boy/Puff, Pac had eclipsed Snoop at that point.

When Makaveli dropped, Pac passed, and the bootlegs were circulating demonstrating how prolific Pac was, Pac was just on another level at that point. There was is no comparison between Pac and Snoop in that regard.

If we are talking bigger star when alive, I'd say Snoop for a longer period time. Pac for maybe 95, but definitely 96 until his death.

@synistr

If you're really 48 you must be senile because you don't know what the fukk you're talking about.

Let's go back to this:

ah....we have come full circle. you said Dre's co-sign of Kendrick didnt matter. you said if Dre co-sign meant so much, then why didnt Bishop Lamont blow. remember that?

Again, that never happened. There isn't a single mention of Bishop Lamont from me anywhere on this site. Use the Search function if you don't believe me.

Then you said:

breh, I worked in record store. if a popular double album like AEOM was $20, then a single album of same stature would be $14-15. they were no where near double the price. there was a sliding scale. if Goody's had a new single disc album for $11.99 then a popular double CD would be no more than $17.99. shyt wouldnt be no damn $23.99.

But then you just said:

Wu Tang Forever may have been $26.99 in one store, I distinctly remember it being $22.99 where I purchased. so single cd in respective stores were about $6-7 less.

The fukk? :gucci:

I'm the one moving the goal posts? :mjtf:

But it gets better:

anyway, you are a notorious stan with no objectivity, especially when its someone you aint feeling. seem to remember you trolling Ross threads all the time. I am not a Ross fan either but I dont make it my lifes work to troll him on a message board. aint that serious. :mjlol: and definitely bet not nobody say nothin bout Kendrick or Gibbs or you will find your way in:cape:admit it breh. you too old to be stanning at this level.

Rarely post anything about Ross....and as far as the bolded with Kendrick, we can do a ban bet right now. Obviously I'm a Gibbs fan, look at my avy. But the Kendrick shyt....I'm the same person that posted the Travis O'Guinn interview exposing K Dot as a plant. The same dude that shyt on "TPAB" when it dropped. So again, you must be senile. Or you got me confused with someone else. Either way, you don't know what the fukk you're talking about. Which is par for the course in this thread, really.

Facts. The delusional will say otherwise but I saw it with my own eyes. It was the biggest bandwagon jump in hip hop history. If u notice when Canibus said BIG was the greatest in 98 on that song there was no argument contesting Pac was in that same mix of being the greatest...and that was 98.

Or, a far more likely explanation is Canibus just wasn't important enough for there to be any push back against his opinion. Dude struggled to go gold in an era where lyrics actually mattered. He could've said Kwest Tha Madd Ladd was the GOAT and nobody would've gave a fukk.

here's another rapper who mentions nothing of Pac in the mix of being the best. What a coincidence Biggies name is mentioned again.

An NY rapper Pac dissed....leaving Pac's name out of a GOAT discussion....

Mind blowing.

You just gonna keep juelzing huh? :sas1:

Bet. Juelz this one...No beef with Pac and he's a hip hop legend.

Here's KRS in 2004 saying LL was the greatest of all time. Still no 2pacs name in the mix.

Nope.... @hex wanted all these special rules and disqualified rappers that Pac dissed.

Here's another legendary rapper who had no beef with Pac.

Daddy ain't around, probably out committing felonies
My favorite rapper used to sing, "Check check out my melody"

50 Cent - Hate It Or Love It 2004.

Funny you mention 50 Cent:

50 Cent Says He Rides With 2Pac Over Biggie

But that don't fit your agenda, so :yeshrug:

:mjlol:

What agenda? You quoted me speaking on no one puttin Pacs name in the mix of the greatest after his death.

And now look at how desperate you are that you are reaching and posting bullshyt. You posted 50 responding to a specific question:

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has demonstrated his appreciation for late West Coast rapper Tupac Shakur when asked which deceased rapper would he prefer to collaborate with.

“2 pac RT @Crazy4_KStew: @50cent if u could collaborate with any rapper that has died and make a song who would it be?,” 50 tweeted Monday (February 28). (50 Cent’s Twitter)

Snoop was bigger than 2Pac until 2Pac died and became God Status. That's just a factual staement. Snoop dropped the ball with "Tha Doggfather" though.

2Pac and Biggie are more revered in death than they were when they were alive.

2Pac first 2 "Death Row" singles featured "Death Row" heavyweights Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, of course he was gonna move units. Everything Death Row put out was moving heavy units.

He mentions Pac but lets be real here...if I was to go on this exact same website and use this same clip in defense of 50 saying Em was Top 4 greatest of all time I'd get shytted on and dismissed. So this clip works for this argument now but would get dismissed if I was to use it in favor of Em.

Also....This was made years later when the Pac bandwagon was in full swing.....I was talking about right after Pacs death. You posting shyt decades later when saying Pacs name in the mix of the goats was the norm.

Also.... I noticed u purposely forgot to add that Nas said after that line in Ether..."Aint no best"

Nah. All Eyez On Me outsold Doggystyle while Pac was alive.

He didn't just mention Pac breh 50 clearly crowned Pac as his GOAT. And btw you the one that posted 50 cents lyrics to prove a point lol
I never cared about that guy's opinion anyway so it is what it is

l left out "aint no best" cause i felt it didn't really matter cause Nas's love for Tupac is already well documented it doesn't matter what spot he takes on that list

A God >>> top 5 rappers :mjcry:
