My godfather definitely doesn’t make more than my godmother lol. He’s an old school cat from Chicago that takes no shyt. Picture Ving Rhames. That’s him. Been married 30 years. My cousin in law don’t take shyt from my female cousin either and I’m sure she makes more. My aunt runs her man but she also hates him and had to settle. He’s a dusty unfortunately. Your manhood should not be tied to your money breh. I’ve been to multiple weddings. Every time, the bride was so happy just to get married, you could’ve asked her to read the alphabet and she would’ve done it with no resistance.
I have zero sympathy for the groom. That small interaction already shows me what kind of woman she is. He knows exactly who he’s marrying and this isn’t the first time she’s acted like this.
If she truly respected him, she would’ve went along with it and then taken it up with him and the pastor after the ceremony. To show him up like this on their biggest day just shows the defiant spirit she has.
My friend said something deep to me last week: Women will change their clothes, hair, nails, eyelashes, butt, stomach, man, friends but never their attitude. The moment someone suggests that’s where they need to improve, 9/10 it’s taken as an affront.
