These are the same recycled vows, based on biblical text, thats been used for hundreds of years. If she didnt wanna say them she coulda went to breh behind the scenes like "let's do our own vows and make them personal".

Those vows are ancient they need to be updated at some point. That's my point. Nothing else about hypernated names and all that. I've been to several wedding in my time and I haven't heard obey used in vows once in my era. People been editing their vows for a while now ..if they had an agreement then the pastor should have honored it
