I believe you're mistaken here, or possibly making a very abbreviated statement. Any assets acquired prior to marriage are considered separate property and aren't subject to division. Tracy Morgan Received Kidney from Ex-Girlfriend

Tracy Morgan should be thanking his lucky stars he has a generous ex-girlfriend. While on the red carpet of the 2011 SAG Awards last night, Morgan revealed that Tanisha Hall, his ex-girlfriend, donated a kidney to him in December.

“I’d like to thank Tanisha for donating my kidney to me, ” said the “30 Rock” funnyman to E!. The two became a couple after Morgan divorced his first wife Sabina in 2009.
