I was a big fan of X Men in the 90's as a kid reading the comics and watching the x men cartoon - my favorite character was Wolverine...

when a young Jack Skellington watched X-MEN in 2000 at the movies.....

Looks like, talks like, swag's like - Hugh Jackman's portrayal was perfect

little ol' me was like " that's wolverine right there...."

I'm voting Christopher Reeve Superman. Dude IS superman, basically.
Heath Ledger's Joker, Haley's Rorschach, and J.K's Jameson are all up there though.

Downey Jr. Iron Man is a contender, but the sequels are kinda
Hugh Jackman is up there too, but he's too tall and they gave him way too much shine compared to the other X-men, so I'm on him too.

reeve and downey are god tier, basically embodying their roles and becoming the character.

michelle pfieffer is up there too because nobody will ever be able to live up or surpass her without doing some kind of variation of her performance.

tough question..the original Superman Stuff was so iconic. The strong motivations of Magneto. I'm not even sure where you could start with the key Batman. Downey Jr did well as Iron Man.
