On a macro scale its true though. Wealth/income/opportunity inequality is driven by other means that can't be fixed by wealth transfers
Labor and consumption are not wealth transfers. They are voluntary exchanges. Inequality fixes through taxation are transfers. Money is flowing from one party to another, involuntarily, with nothing being given back to the parties paying. And the underlying issues driving the inequalities aren't being addressed. Demanding higher taxes on the rich feels good because its simple and easy but it's not really a rational solution to the problem of inequality. This is a one way street. The concept of labor in itself is a wealth transfer. The concept of consumers is a wealth transfer.
This "no zero sum" bullshyt only applies to labor and the consumer, never to those in control.

Where? It's a very rational solution that has worked wonders before. It just can't be the only solution.
All of those countries run balanced budgets. High key we are not ready for that level of public service. The concept of labor in itself is a wealth transfer. The concept of consumers is a wealth transfer

If I move my wallet from my back pocket to front pocket thats a wealth transfer
No
Wealth transfer is the forced movement of money from one group to another with no services or goods being rendered in return. So consumption and labor are by various measures not wealth transfers. Neither are taxes assigned to specific services and programs.
