Steph is amazing but you would consider taking him over Jordan,Shaq,Kareem, wilt, magic, kobe,Duncan, and player and others like that
I thought about that before I posted it, and I honestly would. Cats like Kareem, Duncan, Wilt and everybody provide two way help since centers can shut down the paint. However, taking the greatest shooter of all-time and overall great player like Curry with the first pick means defenses shutting down the paint doesn't stop him. Someone like Curry actually brings a defense out of the paint to stop him, evidenced by numerous clips of teams throwing 4 players at him at once whenever he even hesitates, thus freeing everyone else up.
What's interesting is even if you compare Jordan's best season where he averaged 37.1 points

and his assist total with it (4.6) along with his mpg (40), it comes out to accounting for 46.3 points per game at 1.16 points per minute. This is assuming all assists lead to 2 points.
If you stretch Curry's minutes out (he's only average 30.1 minutes per game) to the 40 minutes Jordan had, he'd be averaging 1.44 total points accounted for per minute. Meaning, Curry if given the same amount of minutes as Jordan would be accounting for 57.6 of his team's points, over 10 points more.
Now there are things like system, teammates and etc. involved in total team numbers, but that's still insane. Plus we've seen how much of a drop-off that team has when Curry isn't there. Add to it Curry is averaging almost half as any free throw attempts that Jordan did during those seasons meaning he's taking the game out of the refs hands, which you can do if you're a great shooter. Especially with the range he has. Curry's current season right now is just more efficient than any of Jordan's seasons and especially during his earlier seasons Jordan was the master of efficiency. It'll be interesting to see how long Curry keeps this up, but with his playing style + age I don't see why he can't for years after this.
It's definitely more than stats though. Those players you mentioned are all top 10 to me, but I would definitely not mind having Curry over all of them and would strongly consider it as the #1 pick of all-time.
