Golden State is without question a great team. They're probably the best team in the NBA. Lots of talent and they buy into a great system. Very well coached. But so far they have only one championship. Yet I just read a poster say they're one of the all time great teams next to the Bulls 3peat and he named other teams that won multiple chips. Don't you have to win more than once to get the respect that dynasty teams get:dwillhuh: Now maybe they do win more. They have everything you need to win another one. But what I really want to know is why do non warrior fans suck off the warriors:jbhmm: I noticed if you say another squad such as The Cavs,Thunder,Clippers or another team people act like you're saying this years sixers squad can beat the 72 win Bulls:mjlol:
You got fans from other teams:cape:caping for this team for no apparent reason. Is it cause they beat LeBron? Is it because you're team isn't winning shyt and you want to celebrate? Is it because you just respect them as a team? Just a Curry stan? Or light skinned excellence throughout that team?
Im a Warriors fan so I may be bias in saying this, but the Dubs out here whooping nikkas ass like the Harlem Globetrotters.

Because the alternatives are trash :pacspit:

Rockets and Clippers can eat a dikk, extremely unlikable teams.
Spurs need to die already.
I hate that fatherless nikka Lebron.

So Warriors it is, plus their style of play is fun to watch. I would have no problems with OKC winning it all either :ehh:

Not really a Curry stan but had him and Harden as All Star locks from their rookie year. Also "defended" Steph when people said the ankle injuries would ruin his career because it was obvious they never saw Steph play outside of highlights. Steph was that good.

Big reason I started rooting for them was Iguodala. Always thought dude was a damn near elite player that people had no clue how good he was because he wouldnt score a lot. 2013(?) playoff when he was still in Denver vs Golden State. Watch that series. Denver lost Gallo and everyone else to injury. Golden State could not run offense on any side of the floor Iggy was on. He was a 1 man wrecking crew with nothing around him. When Golden State signed him I bet money they would win the chip immediately and Steph would get MVP.

I was a year too early but I like to see smart teams recognize talent and how to use it.

Mainly because Steph Curry is one of the best players I've ever seen. If there were an all-time draft there'd be legit consideration to draft Curry at #1. You can build a team around anybody like that.

actually you can't. Not trying to shyt on Steph either but there really aren't that many players you could legit say that about. The level you see Steph at now is partly because he doesn't have to handle the ball for the team to dominate - Draymond or Iggy makes it super difficult.

I don't think people realize that the reason the Warriors excel is because steph literally has to do nothing but shoot 3a and make the pnr pass. He doesn't have to defend much at all either. He can play passing lanes due to defending the worst offensive player every night too. Warriors gm did a good job surrounding him with ball handlers

When I used to talk sports betting for playoff matchups I had 1 golden rule - any team with at least 2 ball handlers on the floor is going to dominate a series against a team with 1 guy driving the offense by himself. It's damn near impossible to beat good defenses with 1 guy initiating everything and then asking him to play defense. Only two dudes came close to really going nova in recent years in that situation: Lebron vs Detroit because once Mo Will was off the floor shyt was laughable, and Wade vs Boston 2010 because they couldn't run the offense anywhere else (Chalmers was boneheaded at times) although they still lost 4-1.

Arizona Alum...

Rooting for Iggy, Walton (even though he fukked my girl in 2001), and Kerr is a no-brainer.

They're playing Lute Olson basketball.

Something that gets lost with Steph (and every great shooter it seems) is his off ball activity and the gravity he attracts. He's in constant motion which puts stress on a defense and consequently frees up everyone else on the court including himself.

He's about as good as a player can possibly be without the ball in their hands on offense, and it's important not to undersell that fact in an attempt to imply his workload doesn't have to be enormous for the Warriors to win so consistently
