your credit to an extent is a mark of your character. i'm all for it if they pull your actual credit report and look at it. medical bills should be excused but many of the people that run their credit into the ground aren't the kind of people you wanna rely on.is one of the most ridiculous hiring practices i can think of. If a person is unemployed looking for a job more then likely their money is fukked up.....to dissqualify them on the basis that they aren't paying their bills, in that state, is ubsurd and debatably discriminatory.....
and i know nikkas going to come in here on the "well when they're potentially going to be dealing with money, it makes sense.." naw, it still doesnt........but even still, this credit requirement is not simply relegated to jobs where the applicant could/would be dealing with money. Example, I got a homeboy with a 90k degree who just got then ungot a job because of his credit..........which got fukked up in his time of unemployment.......
anyways, whats ur thoughts.......speak on it
your credit is the measurable value of your name. if you're willing to take that and run it into the ground imagine what else you're capable of.
