Damn, dark side of hollywood strikes again


Watching the documentary. They said writers had scripts of Black empowerment. And that they didn't want to give the lines to John Amos because he was a strong black man and instead wanted to give the pro black lines to the little boy Micheal cause "America would be able to digest it better" :wow:

I remember an episode where Michael was asking why they can't eat Cream of Wheat because it has a black man on the box :pachaha:





The response was "oatmeal was cheaper"

why you laugh? today we have more control because we have producers and directors and executives. I am not saying its peaches and cream nor am I saying we dont produce stereotypical bullshyt or buffoonery. but back 30-40 years ago, the price to win just one small battle was high.
