CACs I tell ya :wow:
who cares. 1 it came down to esther rolle not the white writers 2 whether the writers were black or white is moot, how owe the viewing audience expect them to present a composite image of a black man in Chicago. 3 good times is not a true life story of a black family.

why you laugh? today we have more control because we have producers and directors and executives. I am not saying its peaches and cream nor am I saying we dont produce stereotypical bullshyt or buffoonery. but back 30-40 years ago, the price to win just one small battle was high.

Name a show today that is considered a quintessential "Black" sitcom or drama that focuses on Black family and issues

I'm generally curious. The only one I know of is The Carmicheal Show, which was cancelled

Nah don't mind. Always seemed like the writers hated the black family and wanted them to suffer.

The theme song always rubbed me the wrong way
