Eh it depends, but not really. Just basic entry level desktop support. I think most comp sci are just gonna go for smaller roles and smaller companies.
Ehh, depends on the company. I am full remote and there is on occasion after hours work, but that beats driving to work everyday and not having the freedom to do shyt in the day.

And no matter how good robots are.. they won't come up with full design and implementation. to many things to consider: budget, vendor relationship, level of knowledge within the company, level of knowledge of the network team etc

This is the obvious problem for the people clowning tech workersWait until CS majors realize there’s a lot of desk jobs and fields between FAANG and Chipotle.
A CS degree doesn’t mean you’re limited to software roles.
It’s still a STEM degree that displays a level of logical thinking above the average crowd.
That’s the big downside here: the more they can’t land a tech job, the more competition for other office jobs goes up because they’ll funnel.
When that mentality spreads on those subreddits rather than the doom and gloom over tech roles
People with more cognitive ability will be flooding other job markets now. Similar to how a lot of physics, math, and engineering majors started taking the best finance roles from people with a BA

Funny thing is most people who would’ve majored in Physics, Math, traditional Engineering and Medical School chose CS to follow the money. There was a complete brain drain and still is.
A lot of CS majors acing these tech interviews would’ve been bright in whatever field they chose to follow because they would’ve been a Physicist or Mathematician had the tech sector not went to the stratosphere.
