Laughed at "Any time you enter a text messaging thread on iPhone, those blue and green message bubbles make clear who else is on iPhone versus Android.

Google claims that distinction leads to "peer pressure and bullying" that has ultimately given Apple's iMessage a clear edge.

Hiroshi Lockheimer, senior vice president of Google products including Android, wrote on Twitter that Apple's efforts to lock in users to iMessage "is a documented strategy."

Lockheimer's tweet was in response to a Wall Street Journal article on how teens stick with iPhone over Android because*the green text bubble signaling they use an Android device.

"Using peer pressure and bullying as a way to sell products is disingenuous for a company that has humanity and equity as a core part of its marketing," wrote Lockheimer. "The standards exist today to fix this."

I know for sure nikkas who militant about this iPhone text shyt, definitely don't travel well enough. If they did, they'd know there's literally an entire world beyond iMessage :mjlol:

Simple minded morons...

You call them simple minded, but it's not about what other people use. It's about what their friends and family use. And that's iMessage here in the States.

I could travel Europe for 40 days and 40 nights, but that won't mean shyt. I ain't talking to anyone from other countries after I come back from vacation. Re-read what you said and think about it.

When I was younger the “allows you to do more” convinced me to stick with Android. I would spend time customizing shyt, making sure everything was up to date, finding work arounds for issues, etc…..

Honestly though, right now, I don’t have time for that shyt. I want to spend ZERO minutes trying to fix something that went out of date or isn’t compatible with something else. fukk that.

So yeah I know some things are locked down on this iPhone or aren’t available in the store but I don’t care. I just want the phone to work when I pick it up. If that means I need to miss out on something for the time being then :yeshrug: I used to dread Android updates because it meant something was going to stop working and I wouldn’t know what until I actually needed it.

Yall had to do all that? :picard:

Cause people are out here taking about android vs iPhone with them 30 dollar phones you get from Walmart and shyt lol. It should be Samsung vs iPhone… whoever decided to put a phone vs an operating system is crazy

I don't have to. Are you militant about it? If so, it's very much possible that your world is stunted to your immediate circle, and you can't fathom a world beyond. If the shoe don't fit, then don't wear it.

You're speaking in absolutes. Like it's an everything or nothing situation.

What's even wilder is foreigners speaking on US issues and conflating issues. Y'all nikkas use an app provided by a US company. Sit y'all crazy ass down somewhere.

When that green text pops up randomly, it’s ALWAYS one of the three things…

1. Can I borrow some money?
2. Can I get a ride?
3. Can I stay with you for a few?

just knowing #greengang it could be all three at one time.:dead:
this has absolutely nothing to do with phones and everything to do with the people you choose to surround yourself with:mjlol:
