Google's not earned the privilege to ask $999+, $799+ or $599+ for their laptops, phones or tablets.

So, what you do and don't enjoy the most about the pixel 3 coming from an iPhone 7?:obamaaa:
Don't like: battery life, and the fact that majority of the people I assoicate with are apple users. Which makes me miss FaceTime and iMessage.
O, and for some resason my Hey Google feature mysteriously stops working.

Do Like: The thrill of discovery of a new OS that has more options than IOS. Love the camera, the Google intergration, and call screening spam callers. I got this phone hoping it it will be a forefront for software innovation.

The design of the Pixel 3 is hideous to me, I really need a new phone, and I've already bought into the Google ECO system (Google Home is :ahh:)

So I'm at an interesting point. I'm a photographer so the camera alone is a big deal for me, my wife has the Pixel 2, and the camera is amazing. And that Night Sight mode is revolutionary shyt. Peep this shyt...

Pulled it from a Youtube Video where he tests Night Sight on the Pixel 2 and 3

With as much trouble as they are having I would just keep an eye out for deals. Keep in mind that you know Apple, LG and Samsung are going to respond soon. Early as March/April

I don't understand niccas that pay 800-1k for a phone. That shyt is puzzling. I still have my Note 4 and haven't had any issues in all the time I've had it

Night sight is literally computational magic when you think of how difficult it is to capture detail in 0 to low light situations ...

... it's always good to see someone's passion reach it's full potential, Levoy's been working on this (and in this field) for ages.

Marc Levoy - Wikipedia

His research and work in this area is easily accessible, so Apple & others should have a v.1 that's somewhat functional in 2019 and then something comparable to this in 2020.

But, that's kinda for the casuals who want to improve their restaurant and concert photos. The hidden leap forward is the single shot detail Pixel 3 can render now ... it's literally approaching 1" sensor capability which is insane to think about.

It's only a matter of time before the camera manufacturers start implementing some of these software processing advancements into these camera bodies

:wow:
