No bullshyt, but I never understood the American obsession with pan-made grilled sandwiches. I tried it for the first time a few months ago. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty alright and looks nice. But after all that effort and all that extra butter, why not just add sandwich meats to make it dramatically better ?

i just put a slice of cheese on lightly toasted bread then throw it in the microwave for some seconds. it melts the cheese on a nicely toasted bread only thing you have to put some paper on the plate or the bread will become too soggy from the moist heat of the microwave.

its a good quick snack when you want to quieten the stomach rumblings. gordon ramsey has taught me a few tips and tricks his youtube channel is great.

I just think a lot of nikkas view his grilled cheese as being a little too complex/gourmet (not to mention more expensive) for their liking and because of that ppl gonna shyt on it ...

When you step into the restaurant and culinary cooking world of things, a grilled cheese (among other foods) for instance isn't made the same as your standard two slices of white bread, butter, and American cheese.

He's a culinary chef so standard food you'd make in your kitchen is usually taken up a few notches than usual from its cooked, quality of ingredients, and how it's plated.
