nah. lots of animals from diff species reproduce (horse+donkey makes mule) but the children are infertile

actually dogs and wolves are the same species. If a wolf fukks a dog they can have kids and them kids will be able to breed.

To be classified as a new species, the offspring have to be able to reproduce. Mules, tigons, ligers, etc are usually infertile so they get thrown in the bushes

The gorilla has strength beyond a cat. The cat cant hold the gorilla down. If cat can be held down by a gorilla and beat with no mercy. After feeling the sheer power of a silverback a Lion would get out of there. A lion would not fight a gorilla till the death.
