Trump didn’t set any tone cause he had a Republican Congress who massages him into not doing anything. Once he lost that he went to whine about his wall and a caravan to his base.

Do you not understand that if Trump gets anything out of this shutdown, his simple mind will just shut down the government again and again to get his way. He even said this himself when asked why won’t he open the government. We will be back to same scenario again but worst
