Zion has literally been able to do whatever the fukk he wants in the paint basically since he stepped foot in the NBA and now you got people in here acting like Shaq would have any issues :aicmon:
A lot of you underestimate Shaq's skill and touch
Zion has a 45” vertical

The problem is shaq would have to get a jumper if he going to consistently be on the floor
No he wouldn’t :dahell:
Nope. They would need to remove the zone defense as well. Those dominant post players were great because you could damn near guarantee they get the ball close to the basket with only one person on them.
Would have absolutely no impact on a Shaq, Hakeem, David Robinson, etc. Act like Dwight Howard wasn’t considered the best center in the NBA years after zone defenses became legal. Tim Duncan was past his prime and still doing work in the post after zone defenses were allowed. They don’t even play zone like that in the NBA.

Dwight was a cleanup man. Just because he was the best center doesn’t mean he was prime Shaq.

You wildin by saying NO impact at all. Shaq and Dream spinning into a 2nd or 3rd man already in the paint would absolutely have an impact on their game. Could they overcome it, most likely, but don’t act like their games wouldn’t have to change to accommodate the rules.

He's right but he wasn't complaining when he got Duncan(which would of been a center on any other team) for his twin towers duo...

Plus didn't his teams start the 3 and D mode, warrior style back in 2013-2014 but the warriors just expanded upon and had the greatest shooter of all time?
Right, his team pretty much perfected this style Of play when they won a title. GS just took it to the next level

Shaq had no problem passing out of the double and triple team. None of these centers in the NBA would pose a threat to Shaq on defense.

It's funny how OP is framing this as Pop ethers modern day basketball, when it seems that's what modern day basketball is doing to Pop -

I turned on some random game the other night... I promise you these ran up and down the court jacking 3's for 10 mins straight. Not one attempt at a midrange or paint shot.. Not once.. And it wasn't like they was hitting them either
This didn’t happen.

If you don’t like basketball anymore simply stop watching.
