Yeah. He came around in our late high school years but I was already gone by then and that resentment was there.

I can't remember if he came to my high school graduation but he came to my college one. He always showed favoritism to my little brother though. Thinking about it makes me angry anyways.

thought some shyt always came up and that was the reason why he never came around.. come to find out a few years later from my sister that id be super sad waiting for him at the door all weekend ... and he only lived 5 mins away

I know the feeling My dad literally lives less than 5 minutes away and he's never raised me or been in my life longer than a couple of hours.

@CashmereEsquire not even an uncle . All of my uncles were either locked up or on the other side of the family that we don't talk to. My step father, love that nikka, filled a void for I wanna say 6 years but due to some circumstances has been gone since I was 13. So I went through what I'd call the most important moments of my life without a father figure.
