Gym brehs! Help finding an exercise

Hey brehs,


Ive recently picked up swimming and im feeling a lot of tension and pressure from a portion of arm i dont think regular upper body exercises cover. Any help?


Its the part of your upper arm between the shoulder and that region normal tricep cables or tricep barbell and xercises Target. Its oarallel to triceps but further up. I dont typically feel anyything in this upper arm area from tricep exercises or sholder exercises like military presses or shrugs. I also dont feel that region activating in the same way as swimming when doing pull ups or cable lat pull downs.

I get the feeling that what im missing is something betweeen these various sets of exercises . Or maybe a variotion on one of the other exercises i just mentioned.


Any ideas ? :lupe:

No idea what muscle you are talking about. The only two that come close are the bicep and deltoid.

Thanks breh. I think I found it by accident while trying different exercises today. :salute:

It wasn't exactly the delts. Because the dedicated delt exercises weren't hitting that area. It's on the opposite side of the biceps too. So had a rough idea that it was a tricep related issue but much closer to the shoulder

The lying dumbbell tricep extension hit it perfectly. It's sort of isolated it in a way that normal tricep exercises like dips or barbell skull crushers didnt. :ohhh:
