not even close...

hell, i'd rather listen to prodigy's verse alone on "apostle's warning" on repeat multiple times rather than listen to H.N.I.C. in its entirety...

H.N.I.C. was disappointing as fukk to me but i would have seen it coming if I wasn't in denial about P falling off hard after Murda Muzik. by the time he dropped his solo lp, all of prodigy's hunger and energy was damn near gone. whether it be illness, drugs or complacency i don't know, but he wasn't the same cat who was one of the illest and most nihilistic rappers in hip-hop at one time.

idk about it being better then HOE, but i think hnic IS better then mobb deep's 2nd album..

And i neva undastood the so called "P falling off lyrically" thing..he never was a true top notch lyricist in the 1st place..he was just a lil nikka that talked tuff his whole career
the infamous is mobb deeps second album :stopitslime:

I know, and I already explained why I felt HNIC was better

I would've deaded this lil bullshyt argument real quick so we could talk about your mother if we were in a barbershop.

You dudes with your bullshyt ass opinions.
Are you serious?

I dunno shyt about the 80's, I don't even like 80's music but I know my place.

No

i think it'd be a more realistic comparison between Murda Muzik & HNIC than Hell on Earth

I saw this post and had to stop right there and quote it. 100%. They were both recorded at the same time also. Like, Quiet Storm was originally meant for HNIC. Delt with the Bullshyt was for Murda Muzik...Point is I think it's better to compare those albums than Hell On Earth, which honestly isn't like any other Mobb project. Even hav and P said that HOE was made during a crazy awful dark time and that it's way darker than anything else in their catalog.

i think those

yeah i tend to skip the first song on Murda Muzik...some joints i just dont want to hear anymore..but that HNIC seems to get better every year.. P was on a decline lyrically, but he was still in a good space

Damn, you keep making posts I wanna reply to. You skip Streets Raised Me? A lot of people do. I fukk with it, but I think it caught a lot of people off guard, to open with a softer joint like that. I love how it ends.

Fukk outta here lame you getting too emotional

I wasn't feelin most of the beats on there then, and I don't feel'em now..shyt was too regional sounding for me..if you from the east then yea you probably gonna feel that shyt more then me..and that's also why that shyt ain't get much play outside of the east either thou

Why you think biggie brought the east back and not nas or the wu? It's simply cuz he had universal appeal..a and I fukked wit nas and wu heavy at the time

I agree with the OP, and I can admit it's because of the production like @JayBaldacci said.

I'll take Murda Muzik over both, though. Murda Muzik is a 5/5 to me.
