@Hacksaw Jim Thuggin how has that move worked out for you, being that according to Primerica's Important Disclosures website section (which can be found here http://www.primerica.com/public/primerica_disclosures.html ) Primerica paid each licensed representative for 1 year "an average of $5,513".

If we were to put the individual incomes of a representative such as yourself on a box plot, its obvious the results would be skewed right :youngsabo:

More from the website:
The Business Opportunity
The Primerica business opportunity involves the sale of term life insurance and other financial services products such as mutual funds and variable annuities. Primerica representatives are independent contractors, not employees of Primerica or any of its affiliates.

Personal Income
The cash flows stated are not intended to demonstrate the earnings of typical RVPs/representatives. Rather, the cash flows that have been cited reflect the potential that comes with building your business, and there is no guarantee that you will achieve any specific cash flow level. Most RVPs/representatives do not achieve the levels illustrated. From January 1 through December 31, 2012, Primerica paid a total of $509,227,049 in compensation to its sales force, at an average of $5,513 per life licensed representative. Actual gross cash flow is, among other factors, dependent upon the size and scale of a representative’s organization, the number of sales and the override spread on each sale, and the ability and efforts of a representative and their downlines. Having said this, Primerica provides an opportunity for individuals who work hard to develop a business with unlimited income potential.

@Hacksaw Jim Thuggin why did you quit a six figure job to jump into selling insurance, the coli would like to know.
I mean if the opportunity is that great, why haven't you put us on?
What were you doing before you were selling insurance for a company that pays on average less than half of a minimum wage fulltime Mcdonalds employee (assuming worker works 40 hours/week x $7.25/hour x 50 weeks = $14500 EBIT) :ohhh:

Clear and concise answers are needed @Hacksaw Jim Thuggin , I need to know if I should put this LSU shyt to the side and sell insurance:ohlawd:

1st: i never said i quit my job. would I? yes...only if i was able to build a business that was generating enough income to live on....

i never said success in primerica was guaranteed...its a business....if you're as smart as you think you are then you would know that 80% of small businesses fail...so there are no guarantees....does that mean that primerica doesnt work? no...it does....FOR SOME.

question: does every incoming freshman at LSU graduate? does simply enrolling there ensure success in life? nope...but does that mean that LSU isnt a great school? of course not....its the same for primerica....its a great company but that doesnt mean that everybody there is going to succeed....it isnt a job breh...this is the point ive been trying to get across to yall

never said you should quit school and sell insurance (oh...we do a hellova lot more than insurance breh)....like i said THIS ISNT FOR EVERYBODY

all i try to do is put out factual info in these threads about the MLM im involved with...i dont know a thing about any of the others...all i can say is that primerica is legit...

:salute:
and i offered you a chance to come see for yourself....:manny:

@Shugg Ross man that shyt is a cult. i was chilling, smoking with some mutual college friends, and that last thread you made was fresh in my mind. i started roasting juelz about his involvement, dissing MLM and wakeupnow, and i brought up Primerica. These jersey girls were damn near ready to die for that primerica shyt, i had to listen to a 30 minute lecture and powerpoint about this shyt :why:

at least the weed and rum and orange juice were on point :whew:

First I don't know why you compare this to a "small business", the two aren't remotely the same. A small business for the most part is one individual or a group of individuals who have some product or service that they want to offer and plan to monetize from. Their success/failure for the most part comes down to their execution, there are some external forces that effect them. On the flipside a mlm is an entire corporation that recruits people as an extension of their services. The problem with a mlm is, the success/failure is much more effected by external forces than by that own individual's execution. The system in place has inherent failure simply because there is a finite number of candidates that can join, therefore those at the bottom get taken for a ride. When McDonalds for example extends franchising rights to interested individuals they have measures in place to insure success as best as possible. For example they won't open a McDonalds franchise next door to another franchise because those franchises will be indirect competition unless there's that much foot traffic in an area to support two. On the flipside what measures do these mlm's have in place to prevent "IBO's" from being in direct competition with one another? There aren't any because the very nature of the business model is to recruit as many people who can recruit as many people who can recruit as many people. Logic tells us this model is simply unsustainable. If I recruit my brother under me well who the hell will he be able to recruit when we both know the same ppl? One of us is inevitably going to fail...And that's where the domino's begin to fall once he fails and the others on his level in my "downline" inevitably fail, then what's going to happen to me? then the person above me?

I haven't even begun to address what sort of due diligence is done on the corporations behalf on the type of individuals that they let in. Any tom, dikk and harry is recruited and considered for membership in this organization. There's no test for temperament to see if they're even suitable for such an aggressive sales job, or hell even tests of competency and/or literacy as long you have that 100 dollars a month you're in.
