I believe the rumors Lorne Michaels had MadTV actors blackballed. They ate off voice acting but when it comes to live action tv shows and movies none of them actors popped as much as they should have.
I believe so. But wasn't MadTV filmed in California. It's nuts that he had that pulled.

I'll also say that Fox was horrendous at promoting talent on their network. Like with SNL, those motherfukkers get on everything and if you were a decent enough writer, Lorne would get them to write for Conan or Leno or some comedy show. Most of Fox's Live Actions were DOA.

Not really, the main difference is Corey didnt play the game, knows he didn't play the ame and accepts his fate. Aries plaayed the game, thought he was going to make it and didn't.
My theory is that when Zo's elbows punched him on Corey show, it opened up a rift in the Multiverse where they switched trajectory and Corey saved himself from the life that Aries is now living.. but slowly the timelines are trying to be corrected. 🧐

Will Sasso eatin good now on Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. Once he started linking up with Chuck Lorre it was all about finding the right vehicle.

That show will end when they want it to end. That's a 5-7 season show guaranteed.

I could see being mad about it, but it worked out in the end for him. Kind of off topic, but I got a theory that Lorne Michael's is making it so nobody blows up from SNL and moves on like Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Michael Myers, Chris Farley(RIP), Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, etc. How many SNL cast members from the last 10-15 years have REALLY BLOWN UP? I really can't think of anyone. MAYBE Leslie Jones?
it's the opposite. Lorne back then woulda never let anyone on the cast have these separate side hustles outside of SNL related stuff. Now the cast is so big, Lorne doesn't mind if you take time off to shoot a movie or do a TV show.

Simply put, nobody has popped off outside of SNL from a name perspective other than Pete Davidson and that's mostly because he got a roster of women. It ain't even about his comedy.

I believe it.

The majority of them were very good at impressions and comedic timing, yet none of them hit it big except Keegan and Peele.

They only popped when doing their own thing together for a few years at that.

The blonde chick Nicole, something had a regular role on King of

Mistake envy for ambition while not being right with your kids and a habitual line stepper with your wife. Even with 100 million you'll never feel whole if you can't see what's right I'm front of you. I know guys like this, perpetually miserable because they feel the world owes them something but will take no accountability for the mess that is their life. Big children posing as men.

Look at both these shows and then compare them to the Daily Show where nearly everyone went on to be famous
