In b4 LeGBT up in trying to juelz about how one of the greatest, most skilled, and knowledgable players in the history of the sport don't know what he's talking about and how Tristan Thompson, Shannon Sharpe, Nick Wright, and resident coli couch potatoes worthless ass opinions on anything mean more than his :unimpressed:

i find more value in the opinions of people who can actually elaborate on their stance with agreeable points.

hakeem didnt even attempt to elaborate or apply any depth to his statements.

MJ was an artist on the court and the player that helped take Basketball global. Lebron or anybody else can't surpass him, he is the Babe Ruth of basketball.

the harlem globetrotters took basketball global.

LONG before michael jordan.

:mjlol: Who mans is this?

MJ played for 1 team and they progressed to the champs for their first 3 peat.. MJ retired and came back for a 2nd 3peat with the same team.. He didn’t have to go to 3 teams and stack the deck to win... Like I said 6-0 in the finals NO LOSSES :umad:

he 3-peated with the same franchise, not the same team.

those two 3-peat squads were completely different outside of phil & scottie. a mt rushmore coach and the best SF of the decade.

When I see Hakeem say VERY TOUGH LEAGUE, I believe Hakeem talking about Jordan ability to deal with the physical aspect of the game and rules at the time

nikkas talking about warriors and spurs of 2013 and 2014

Them nikkas in the 90s western conference against a Vernon Maxwell and Gary Payton and playing with the rules in place at that time would struggle

ehh

spurs won one in the '90s too.

which brings up another point. the bulls benefited from playing in the east, on top of the league being overall weak.

didnt say that. but when they get to the finals, they win it. Timmy was a corner 3 away from MJ's record

if u give those guys 10 finals, they getting 7 or 8

but we are supposed to be cool with just getting to the finals, clearly. consolation prizes i see

He may be talking about tough players in the league Then. I may be in the minority but a prime MJ or Gary Payton would’ve given curry some problems on defense.
Curry was EXACTLY the kind of guy MJ hated to guard. He struggled going against quick guards who could both shoot and drive.

CHECKING MICHAEL JORDAN ISN'T SO STRENUOUS, BUT IT'S SURE FRUSTRATING, SAYS STEVE SMITH
Jordan is giving the Hawks a difficult time, but he has trouble of his own. He's guarding Atlanta's Mookie Blaylock, exactly the kind of small, quick guard he detests covering, and Blaylock is on his way to scoring 26 points, including eight three-pointers.

Little 6'0" Mookie Blaylock averaged 21-7-6 that series, making 50% of his 2pt shots and 41% of his 3pt shots. If MJ couldn't lock up Mookie Blaylock, can you imagine the kinda shyt that Steph would have done to him?

And that wasn't the only time that 3pt shooters lit up the Bulls. There was a series against Cleveland where Mark Price shot 55% from 3pt (12-22) while Craig Ehlo shot 42% (11-26). And the Orlando series where Penny shot 36% (8-22) while Nick Anderson shot 41% (12-29) and Dennis Scott shot 35% (15-43). The only time Reggie played against the Bulls in the playoffs he made 44% of his threes (17-39) while Mark Jackson made 47% (9-19).

And you wanna make it worse....here's an interesting quote from the same article I posted above:
Smith is braced for an early flurry from Jordan, but he's not worried, as some of his teammates are, that guarding Jordan will ultimately take its toll on Smith's offense. He scored 19 points in Game 1 and 27 in Game 2. "Guarding Michael is easy--wait, I don't mean easy, don't say that," he says. "I mean in some ways you don't get as tired as you do guarding other players. Somebody like Reggie Miller will run you back and forth across the floor through a million picks on every possession. But Michael doesn't waste much motion, he doesn't play with you. When he doesn't have the ball, he doesn't do much, except wait for an opening. When he gets the ball, he lets you get set, then he does what he's going to do. It usually won't be more than a couple of dribbles. So you don't get especially worn out guarding him."

So chasing Steph (or Klay) through screens is the MOST tiring way to have to play defense. Remember Delly having to get hospitalized from exhaustion? :francis:

MJ would struggle to guard Steph just as much as everyone else does. There's no way he could do it and maintain his normal offensive production at the same time.

So all those years that MJ or Duncan lost in the earlier rounds, they would have won those series if they had been in the Finals and playing against either the same or an even better team? :why:

If you give Duncan or MJ 4 more Finals trips then they would have 4 more L's on their resume, because none of the teams that they failed to make the Finals with was good enough to win the Finals. :manny:

Imagine questioning the credibility of one of the greatest and most skilled players to ever play.

The man said Jordan is FAR superior to LeBron. That's all that needs to be said. What I'm interested to hear is how many other players Hakeem thinks are superior to LeBron, that would really make them mad.

And Hakeem when he was washed on the Raptors was better than Kendrick Perkins at any point in his career.

Hakeem was like why is this nikka so stiff:mjtf:

:mjlol: Hakeem 50 and still more limber than Bron

nikka traveled during practice drills:mjlol:

Don't worry, the same squads they had that got swept in the first 3 rounds woulda got swept in the Finals too. :mjlol:

MJ playing with Oakley, Woolridge, and Paxson gets a pass for a 1st-round sweep, but LBJ gets criticized for getting swept in the Finals when his #2 was Boobie Gibson. :dead:

Duncan got swept by the Lakers and the Suns in the first two rounds, but y'all think he wouldn't have gotten swept by the Steph-Klay-KD-Dray Warriors? :heh:

This

And that’s no slight to Bron, I think the main thing in this era is some cats can’t enjoy certain players so they bring one down to big another one up which to me is stupid. Let Bron fans feel the way they do, there is no way anyone is going to change their mind. I’m a Bron fan but I don’t care about who is the goat, I like seeing him play that’s it

Lebron isn't stiff......pause....

Their body types are radically different. You're supposed to adapt to how your body performs, not necessarily mimic someone else.

Also you have to take into consideration that Hakeem had a soccer background which is a big plus in regards to footwork.

But LeBron is the best player to ever grace the earth.

surely he should’ve gotten ONE game out of four tries.

Timmy getting swept doesn’t justify LeBron getting swept 2x in the finals. LeBron is on a diff level than Timmy right?

even Iverson took a game from the Lakers in 01.

Jus sayin
