Green when he’s on bring this team to another level. The problem is his inconsistency. He doesn’t bring it every game. His three wasn’t dropping last night either but he kept playing and stayed agressive. That’s all ime wants from him. Nights like last night and the games against Phoenix when Green is ballin along with sengun makes this team fun to watch.

I always say it, sengun is our floor, Green is our ceiling.

I’m not against trading Green but it better be for a star wing. A dynamic wing.
Rescue Donovan from the Cavs? Green reminds me so much of early Mitchell who was a streaky fkn head case before he was able to put everything in his game together. I agree they can be fun to watch, but we made moves to bring in vets to compete this year in hopes of stealing an 8 seed, we aren’t close to that yet and are in danger of being stuck in mediocre mode like we were right after the mac/Yao era pre Harden.

Phil Jackson went on record and said even with Jordan on the team they had no answers for Keem. They certainly didn’t want to see us with Glide and the 95 roster in 96, we stupidly blew it all up for Chucks fat ass

I forgot, who did the Rockets trade away to get Chuck? They still had a chance to make it make to the Finals in 1997 if Chuck played defense

But yeah Hakeem is an elite offensive player as he is a defensive player. No one else has that distinction. On top of being an underrated passer. And his game can literally be played in any era

No point in trading green at the moment.

We should move Tate, and get a pass first vet PG to backup FVV

:mjlol: Shameless dikk sucking. Giving me flashbacks of your James Harden dikk sucking.

:skip: Harden was MVP. What’s the logic for sucking Green’s cock? Pause.

I hated Charles Barkley before that trade and I was so pissed at our performance in the 1996 playoffs. First time I was crying at a playoff loss. To this day I dip my balls in the Sonics' ashes.

If it’s a clear upgrade, do it. But I haven’t seen too many trades like that offered

If you trade for Mitchell, he’s getting a suppermax next year. That’s the end of building. Tilman cheap ass ain’t goin in the tax. If you think he’s the final piece you do it, but I don’t think that’s the case.

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
Objective question
Is Hakeem....underrated? Should he be on everyone's top 10?

Discuss :hubie:
90% of the Coli haven’t seen him play. They don’t know.

:flabbynsick: :flabbynsick:I’ve seen Akeem since Houston with Drexler, Michaeux, and Michael Young. Akeem wasn’t appreciated until he added the “H” to his name and when Jordan retired the first time (he won 2 chips), because he was temperamental and physically wilded out on players

. His appreciation also picked up in some circles as a means to undermine Shaq’s Lakers 3 FMVP dominance, years after Dream retired (because he swept a neophyte Shaq in ‘95). I find it funny how Dream gets swept under the rug, but I’m not surprised because when he played, I felt that he never got the love or coverage that he deserved. He got it, but not at the level he should’ve. He kind of had that Kareem vibe, where he’s not a high public profile person which lead to the lack of coverage, also he’s a Muslim, which I think is the main reason.

If you take out the accolades from all of these players, Akeem should be top 10. But since we live in the era of, “how many rings and how many FMVPs he got?”, then he won’t be in most people’s top 10. Which is NOT disrespectful because there’s so many great players and to whittle it down to an agreeable 10, is impossible.

It doesn’t help he was the prototype stretch 4 playing a 5 in a big dominant paint driven era. Put him in todays game and your boy would eat even better. Hakeem has a mid range jumper he never got to show off much since bugs had to literally live in the paint and either clean glass, post up, or tip in on pit backs and not much else. Shame, but it is what it is. He’s still in the hall and definitely deserves to be there, can’t ask for much more in the way of credit since he wasn’t flashy like all other 90’s nba superstars were.
