seems formidable on both ends

People here are going to hate it.

Durant is still arguably better than Towns on both ends and his contract is expiring soon. He plays at a less premium defensive position, can be a secondary ball handler which is a big hole for us, and he has an in-between game which KAT lacks, he’s not someone you have to worry about dropping off in the playoffs either.

They should try to get Giannis in the off season. Just not sure who is good to trade away.

Get this goofy sh*t out of here. Trading away an all-nba talent for a 37 soon to be 38 year old on a repaired Achilles is dumb & screams something Knicks management of yesteryears would do.

There’s benefits to it.

Durant is the better player, is a certified playoff riser, and there is less of a financial commitment tied to him.

Towns is turning 30 and is already a slow, lumbering defensive liability it’s only going to get worse and he is an injury prone player himself who thankfully avoided injury this past season.

There was already talks at the trade deadline between the Knicks, Durant, and the Suns so it’s a real possibility if we flame out.

And the best part of KD’s contract for the Knicks would be him being an expiring.

KD ain’t coming here and making this team good enough to get to the finals. We need some sort of reorganization not a Hail Mary trade.

Watching Minny come out and completely blitz OKC at home in the first quarter is what I expected from the Knicks last night and it didn’t happen. That starting lineup needs to get untucked quickly

I get why the wolves would do it with KD. They got all that cap money wrapped up in Rudy anyway and you bring in KD to hopefully mentor Ant as an aging star and hopefully ya’ll work out a more team friendly deal for him to retire on.

Honestly Brunson needs to be a better PG. yeah he isn’t the main issue, but him being too ISO heavy is the biggest issue we can hopefully fix easy. Also Hart has to either hit his open 3’s or go to the bench as a change of pace Guard. Also Hart, Town, and Mitch got to screen WAY better. Plus we just need more McBride. Like he isn’t perfect but when he plays the team plays better.

We’re actually a better road team than home team so hopefully they wake the fukk up tomorrow and play the way they need to in order to get the win.
