that's fine I would be lying if I sat here and said I'm not semi-disappointed:manny: but its whatever to me I'll get my nostalgic moments playing multiplayer long as it runs great:ehh:
Y'all making too big a deal of this clickbait review. DF already posted framerate analysis and its pretty good. Better than most games that claim 60fps.

Most reviewers are pretty impressed by the visuals and performance.

haven't been keeping up :salute:

For some balance here's what other reviewers are saying

Halo 2 pushed the original Xbox hardware to its ragged, gasping limits, but even running in full 1080p HD with all sorts of lighting effects and shaders that didn't even exist in 2004, its boxy world doesn't exert any particular strain on the Xbox One. The game runs silky-smooth, and it does so consistently

Based on the Sierra 117 level we can show you at this point, Halo 3 is the surprise package. While it takes a while to get used to the angular, low-poly models, the sheer quality and style of Bungie's original art shines through and is presented without compromise: the sub-HD 1152x640 framebuffer(s) of the Xbox 360 original simply can't compare to the pristine 1080p offered by the new game. In addition to that, the anti-aliasing technique works beautifully in smoothing off the distracting upscaled jaggies of the original.

Frame-rate, too, is pretty consistent, sticking closely (but not perfectly) to the target 60Hz refresh. This is actually a double win - not only do we benefit from a 2x boost to temporal resolution, but it also sees the elimination of the odd frame-pacing issues seen in the original game. Both of these elements see the extra power offered by the Xbox One technology providing a tangible boost to gameplay - the raw playability of the experience is almost on another level compared to the original game. It's early days, of course, but we'd love to file Halo 3 alongside Bluepoint Studios' work on Metal Gear and God of War as a game where the quality of the original graphics and gameplay attain a new level running on more powerful hardware.

But of course this is The Coli and the OP is @Fatboi1 alias, so we'll all pretend that negative review is the only one that exists :manny:

I don't either usually, but halo is different. The campaigns are great, and I never played through 4

I heard split screen mode in H1 and 2 is dropped down to 30fps.

Other complaints are small, but may be a bigger issue for some. Split-screen multiplayer is present in every game, but Halo: Combat Evolvedand Halo 2 both drop to 30 frames per second with their Anniversary modes enabled

That's unfortunate.

That's not Halo 1 and 2. DF's analysis was based off of 1 level each from each game.

shyt, how bad is it? Are we talking low 50's drops or well into the 40's? Graphical and gameplay glitches? The day one patch didn't fix it?

I thought it was pretty bad - lots of 40s and 50s with screen tearing. It rarely feels completely smooth outside of enclosed spaces. Classic mode is mostly 60 but even that has dips.
That's from someone who has it on Gaf. Even classic mode has dips??
Sounds bad to me. :manny:

A Xbox 1 game chugging along on a Xbox One??:manny:
Sounds pretty bad to me but hey it's perfect according to you :ld:.

Yes that's halo 2.

Halo 1 has issues just cause it is so old and everything was built around 30fps.

Once again there plenty of explanations out there as to why its difficult or almost impossible to get a smooth 60 out of older games built around 30.

But you'll pretend you don't understand for trolling purposes so troll on brother

No need to :cape:.
TLOU was built around 30fps and the remaster plays at 60fps pretty much perfect. It took about 4-5 hours until you saw a 1 second frame dip in some intense gym fight.

Halo 1-4 has performance issues right out the gate all over the game.

Accept that :manny:

No need to take incomplete posts to try to make a point. Same guy you quoted had this to say about that dumbass review you posted in the OP.

I have to really disagree with these guys having played through most of the H2 campaign. It's not perfect but it's pretty damn good. I wrote a piece that will go up shortly that covers it in more detail but, in its current state, I think it's quite solid. That said, I didn't actually play Gravemind (I played every single level UP to that stage along with the second last one) as it had been covered by other outlets and it didn't seem like it would be especially demanding.

Why you skip that part breh

Also

Another aspect shared with The Last of Us is a more inconsistent frame-rate, certainly in comparison with the more solid Halo 3.

Framerate in the worst performing game Halo 4, is just as good as TLOUR.

What dumb ass deflection you got now?
