I think its pretty well established he/they did. It was an 11 point game with like 2 minutes left and he needed just 1 sack all game and was held sackless to that point while the game was still competitive

You can tell they left him basically unblocked and Favre turned right into and telegraphed the lay down. Brett had a ton of respect for Strahan and wanted him to get the record. Either way legendary season by Strahan
