I was trying to explain this to my boy that's a manager at Pepsi...he says "get a real job. You just sit in a office, that ain't shyt". I always gotta remind him that I make just as much as he does to do nothing, so who really has the "real" job. I been playing Ruzzle, Dominoes, and Dice with Buddies most of the day. This nikka was in a hot ass warehouse, slaving

Put us on if u got it like that. Im starting my trade but i need to have a few self generating incomes to work for me while i work fulltime

Do you work currently? IF you do look at your manager or the cats that get promoted, I can promise you they usually aren't the smartest. When it comes to life you have to make moves that put you and your assets at least risk. If you want to work in corporate america make it where others around you do all the work while you can get the glory for it, if you are looking to pick up a trade/start a business, make it to where you are using others peoples capital to make money. You ever noticed the people that work 3 jobs, work 60 hrs, or are the best at their job always talk about how much they hate their job? Instead of spending 60 hrs a week to make 40k, why not cut back on your lifestyle and use the free time you have working 30-40 hrs and less to learn a skill that will net you the same money or more working less.

America gets us f8cked because we think making a certain amount of money = success. I would rather make 50k a yr take vacations when ever I want and work no more than 30 hrs a week than to make 100k, always stressed, working 60-80 hrs a week, and can't take time away for myself because I have so many deadlines. People are "grinding" so they can consume some bull ish more so than working towards getting to a position where life is easy which can allow them to take the money they do make and do side hustles and invest which ultimately will increase their net worth.

I remember in Middle and HS kids would brag about being in AP or Gifted classes, I was like eff that, I stayed in regular classes never studied or did home work and made all As and Bs with little effort, took my behind to a state school for college instead of some prestigious expensive school and went to college pretty much free and it was easy, and finessed my way in to the IT industry. Like I said work smart not hard, killing yourself working aint gonna put food on the table for your fam, being smart will.

Lol at lazy ass nikkas taking the "work smart - not hard" thing and using it to justify not doing shyt. Newsflash, working for yourself requires a shyt load of hours, stress, and effort. On top of that, you don't have a guaranteed profit. Unless you were born into a wealthy family, NOBODY gets rich without putting in insane amounts of effort.
:whoa: Who the hell said that working smart = working for yourself. :mindblown:

Make assumptions brehs.

I take working smart to mean choosing a career path that nets you the most money within 40hrs/week or less--bonus points for the least physically demanding job.

The "real" job rhetoric is for robots of the system/haters.

"You don't sweat as much as I do, you ain't working!"

Cats don't understand these companies ain't loyal. Busting your ass doesn't matter, spending extra time doesn't mean a damn thing to those people at the top of the pyramid.
Right.

You got this one body/life and you going to work yourself to the bone for someone who'll drop you if the profit margin ain't looking sweet.

Sorry dawg this "work smart not hard" mantra is some smart dumb nikka shyt, atleast in the examples you're using. You have to work smart and hard. Anything worth accomplishing in life requires hard work.

when you dont work smart you assume everyone who is making moves is working hard. How can you call something working hard if it doesn't take someone maximum effort to perform the task and achieve goals? If doing something comes easy or is easy to me how can I say I am working hard?
