I think it's

1. Different in having a team setup for the whole season and having a team that you have to switch up in the playoffs.

2. Lebron's team was like 50+ that season, got swept when they got out west.

3. People always focus on offense, but Cavs success was mostly due to their defense. In the Pistons games games went above 89 points like once and in the finals like zero times.

Cleveland had like 4-5 players that made the all nba defense team in adjacent years. Snow, Lebron, Verjao, Hughes and probably someone else like All-star Ilgaskas.


Other than that Lebron is much better in making other people better, while KD is a sniper.

Most of the posters defending KD in here would have either been "no excuses, he's a superstar and suppose to be the 2nd all time behind magic all.tine, get it done"

Or elevate washed blake,Joe harris and Jeff green to all star caliber players had it been steph instead of KD.

When it's steph, the nuances and contextual analysis we have seen on this thread would goes right out of the window
