That warriors squad came outta nowhere. I remember watching the nba heavenly throughout high school from 2010-2014. During that time the top teams in the west were spurs, Grizzlies clippers, lakers and okc. Warriors weren't nowhere to be found. I skipped the whole 2014-2015 season because i was burnt out from basketball, only to check in during the finals to see them there:mjlol: it shocked the hell outta me.

They didn’t necessarily come out of no where they went 6 games with the Spurs the year before and 7 with the clippers before that.. It was a slow build

I think it's

1. Different in having a team setup for the whole season and having a team that you have to switch up in the playoffs.

2. Lebron's team was like 50+ that season, got swept when they got out west.

3. People always focus on offense, but Cavs success was mostly due to their defense. In the Pistons games games went above 89 points like once and in the finals like zero times.

Cleveland had like 4-5 players that made the all nba defense team in adjacent years. Snow, Lebron, Verjao, Hughes and probably someone else like All-star Ilgaskas.

Other than that Lebron is much better in making other people better, while KD is a sniper.
You're underrating one aspect of LeBron.

Controlling the pace. Only other dude is close is maybe CP3.

I know Bron Ball is not liked. However, his ability to control the tempo when his team isnt as talented is incredible. Then when he's got shooters he knows how to keep them in rhythm when they have a hot hand.

Lebron manage to will the series to 6 games in 2014 without Kyrie and KLove

I know Durant can do the same :ehh:

Imo this supporting Nets roster is better than that Cavs team

That Hawks team isn't even better than the 2021 version and you know it. Grow up.

He got smoked in 6 in the Finals and put up an inefficient & empty 36 PPG against the first genuine contender he faced.
So you just gonna ignore those Spurs huh
