The point is that when it comes to relationships/marriage/divorce, money is usually the biggest factor for women, whether it be not having enough or having so much that the women wants to make a grab for it. It is what it is.

not only that but in scientific studies its extremely stringent and to make a claim like this requires a HUGE amount of evidence specifically statistical proof that the findings are related to the variable (in this case men's employment and its relation to divorce rate) and there are many calculations devoted to this that they teach in Stats courses

so its definitely significant and sounds meaningless because you cant overstate things in scientific studies or you lose your job so they're definitely downplaying their conclusions as much as possible
