:what: you musta been on the internet all day, nikka Jeezy had the streets goin crazy

So did 50 and The Game. I remember Jeezy's street buzz, but to say he was "the hottest rapper in the game" at that point is still a reach. For the record, "hottest" implies that a rapper has more than just the streets going for them.

"I'ma go at Nas and Jigga both for throne"
the man's one words

Even at 50's height nobody in the world thought he was the best rapper alive

but as hottest is was Eminem without doubt he was respected as a rapper and sold the most
Ye, those words were recorded before he dropped an album that was bigger than anything nas or jigga had ever done. stop it. saying 50 never had the throne is one of the worst attempts at re-writing history i've ever read on here

With the aid of Eminem the biggest Star at the time everything he touched turned to Gold, fukking Obie Trice and D12 went platinum maybe even double
the Aftermath Machine was strong back then all thanks to Dre and the white boy

50 was hot, but so was Nelly he did 10 million too
so did Outkast

we talking about hip hop, nobody said "50 is the best rapper"
he just wasn't on that level of spitting

The Massacre dropped in 2005 though. Act like that wasn't one of the most, if not most aniticipated album of '05. Act like "Piggybank" wasn't a big deal when it dropped. Act like he didn't have non-single album cuts heavy in the streets. That album and 50 was inescapable in 2005. When you add the Get Rich or Die Tryin' Soundtrack (which also dropped in 2005) to the equation, there's no way Jeezy was bigger than 50 in '05. "Hustler's Ambition" and "Window Shopper" were everywhere including being big in the streets.

As far as The Game, no one in G-Unit (except 50) was bigger than him in '05. The Documentary was the biggest album to come out of that crew aside from Beg For Mercy and 50's albums.
