Alcs growth is more exceptional.

*thinks about those moments in the mid 2000's when i assumed a beat was made by Hav only to later find out it was Alc*

Alc made a better first solo.

I came in to say something similar to this. You would be listening to a Mobb Deep track and be like damn Hav did his thing, only to find out Alchemist produced it.

Alchemist also has a better work ethic than Havoc. He's produced for 10x as many people in the past 10 years.

Not to me, as Havoc's best work is better to me, Alchemist is dope though...
this. havoc just doesnt have as much people using him so the lack of volume makes alc seem better.

that being said alchemist from like 2007 - 2012 was a legendary period.

But Hav still gets busy...its just he doesnt get placements.

For example:

you cant tell me these recent beats arent amazing.

Havoc is my favourite all time. Alc is probably my 3rd or fourth favourite

i dunno about that though.

On Murda muzik, Infamy, Blood Money...Alc's beats werent better than Hav's or close to it IMO.

Only one he got him on was the Murda Mixtape/Amerkaz Nightmare. Alc's work ethic/network >>>> though

Murda Musik was right before I think he started to get better than Havoc. Alc only had one beat on Blood Money too. That whole album was kind of meh IMO.

A lot of you are running with the cac hipster narrative. I know 13 didn't make noise among them, and most of alcs 25 projects in the last few years did, but 13 was as good production wise as any of those Alc projects.

13 had REAL BANGERS with drums, and songs that sounded different.

The Kush and 13 Reloaded were dope production wise too. Havoc killed the Blood Money album also.

I mean after Murda Muzik i dont know what happened to havs production, he went from regular stone cold classics to mediocre beats real quick ... i dont think ive heard many hav beats that had me :blessed: in the last 10 years

where as Alchemist has flooded the game with classics even to this day, I mean when did hav last produce something on the same level as Terry :feedme:
I'm ashamed at how true this is

prime Havoc was top 5 :iseeu:

The debate that Al doesn't have a fully produced classic is tricky because whilst it's true, Al came up in an era when we seen a lot less one producer albums. I mean....you could say the same about Just Blaze.

drums would be the category where he kills Al. sharp boom bap, murky bb, he can do alot of diff drums very well

Al almost always uses percussion as a backdrop or more muted than most, hes all about letting the melody take the lead
