Yeah, generally speaking I've never been anywhere outside the US where I've felt unwanted, that has only happened in the US oddly enough, upstate NY & PA of all places.

Tell me about your experience in upstate ny that made you feel unwanted.

Nah fam, he's right, some of these dudes will say "Don't they hate black people" when you post about damn near any country you plan on traveling to.

What's so bad about double checking so see if an area is anti black. This is the world that we live in.

The irony is that African Americans rarely travel whilst our culture is very pervasive around the world so you'll find that as soon as they realize you're a black American you'll be treated like a God in most of these countries.

One of my ex's went to Binghampton, and I had a friend that went to Oneonta so I was up there frequently and all sorts of shyt. From seeing confederate flags, to people staring, to being followed by police if you didn't know any better you would have thought it was the deep south.

The whole world is anti black if you convince yourself enough. Why not just lock yourself in your bedroom where you'll feel safe.

That's true, however some of these dudes have never left the states and will be quick to talk about how they heard from their cousin who also never left the states that they hate blacks in Xyz.

haven't really seen much of that on here. there's definitely misconceptions about traveling abroad, but i thought it was understood black americans get treated pretty nice because of our nationality. i aint saying he's c00ning for wanting to goto israel or nk, i'm just saying he's weird for wanting to goto those places. it reminds me of his customized smiley list, just trying wayyyy too hard to be unique.

I'd never visit Russia

Never been to Russia, but I've been to Ukraine, Prague and my brothers wife is from Estonia so we all went there to meet her side of the family before the wedding and I had a great time there.

Russia is next on my list as im a huge fan of their history and I'll be going there. Moscow and st Petersburg. Obviously I won't wander around strange places on my own, but that precaution will be the same regardless of what city I'm in.
