Has anyone credible in hip hop EVER gone on record to rank Takeover above Ether?

Charlamagne is the most blatant and gay dikk rider I have ever seen for Jay with the possible exception of Joe Budden and the people he does his podcast with. Bleek is like a weed carrier. People like Irv and Guru or whoever were extremely associated with Jay.

Everyone from Erick Sermon, Fat Joe, Kay Slay, 50, Papoose, Jadakiss...it seems to be damn near unanimous that Ether destroyed Jay.

Yes I know this is another Jay vs Nas thread...

But I'm not arguing who won or what record won. I'm legitimately asking is there any non biased opinion from someone highly respected that gives the edge to Jay.

And I mean in terms of dissing one another...not Prodigy and the summer jam screen shyt, not Ye's sampling of the doors song.

Ether vs Takeover seems to be as cut and dry as No Vaseline vs "real nikkas"

Most the ones who say Takeover is better are known Jay dikkriders and/or have a really close relationship with him.

The ill thing about that battle is Superugly vs. Ether is more fair to Jay-z, people don't ever mention that. The whole Superugly is going at Nas and the whole Ether is going at Jay-z. Takeover is more of Mobb Deep/random rapper diss than a Nas diss, imo, Nas got 1 verse and it's the weakest verse on the song

Jay-z is a very powerful, very influential figure, it's probably wise for them to blindly and unfairly lick his nuts every chance they get, he seems like the type of dude that likes people to praise him and act like he's impervious

Jay-z himself admitted Nas defeated him on that Blueprint 3 trash, I don't even remember the title of the song. "I will not lose cause even in defeat / there's a valuable lesson learned so that evens it up for me". That's a dope line but yeah, he lost, lol
