Wasnt a landslide as the vote wasnt unanimous
A lot of reason why ether had the impact it did was NOBODY expected Nas to come back from it
No matter what lies dudes who werent around at the time try to peddle everyone was blasting takeover and absolutely nobody thought it was wack
Also because it was all facts not just name calling made it more impressive
but ether was just vicous , even though it was mainly just name calling it was vicious

Takeover is a better beat and maybe a better song (because the whole song isn't even a diss)
But Ether is unquestionably the better diss record
