Saw this post after I made the one above. Said it perfectly. I'd rather 'successful' people have children than some meth heads having 10 children they can't afford. But apparently that makes me elitist, dipping my toes into the ideology of eugenics.

I mean that's exactly what eugenics is (the whole idea that only a specific group of people deserve to breed).

That is the exact rhetoric white supremacists been propagating against black people for the past century or so.


Always thought the manosphere/red pill ideology was just diet fascism and with talking points like this no wonder.

I found that females that don't want kids is because they have some kind of childhood trauma they haven't gotten over it. Honestly feel like when they get older there is regret there. Work can't be the only thing worth accomplishing in life. Raising the next generation is more important.

There is way more to life than kids and work.

Thing is that’s all other forms of life care about funnily enough. Most animals and plants work through surviving their elements, and besides that their main focus is reproduction, in every conceivable way possible, even down to the single celled organisms’ self replicating.

But I get what you mean, that’s why we humans have fully developed conscious, I think creativity and knowledge should be the most important things to people outside of survival and reproducing

They do the act of reproducing for us that's sex. Actually raising kids is different. Many male animals don't actually spend time or care about their offspring and in times of famine mothers will eat thier children which makes sense in nature
