Agreed. Anybody who thinks otherwise needs to spend a week with family that has a severely disabled family member.
@The Radiant One , this is true even in your case. Ask her to go volunteer at a childrens hospital's neonatal icu or an assisted living facility and that pro-life arguement dies real quick. Its idealism and wishful thinking to believe you can handle this.
Concieving a disabled child is like taking bullet to your entire preconceived life trajectory. Id compare it to when folks say theyd turn into rambo in an active shooter situation. You simply dont know what you'd do until its too late, but unlike the life-or-death situation, you can fortunately see examples of families dealing with these disabled children before having your own.
