There's people that swear they'll never have kids and forget to strap up that one time and end up with one and absolutely love it. I'm not trying to have one but I wouldn't be upset if I did.

I was reading an article years ago about how people who are considered middle to upper class (in terms of income) are having less children or having them later on in life. This is due to time and affordability.

Women have been lied to that they can have it all... the career and the 2.4 children with the picket fence. The problem is, they find out that's a lie once they reach their 30s. The dilemma between starting a family and falling behind the rat race becomes more apparently the longer their biological clock ticks.

They have to make an important decision at a pivotal time of their lives: carry on working and reach the zenith of their field or take a step back, start a family and more than likely have to start from scratch and fall behind.

I see this ALL the time. It's unnatural to put women in this position but pointing this out makes me sexist. I have no problem with women wanting to compete with men. Just remember you can't compete against nature. This is why there is such an imbalance in western society and it's starting to show it's cracks.

shyt... look at Japan (for different reasons). You try and create an unnatural environment and look at the consequences. They now have an ageing population with a declining birth rate.

I mean you can even get a woman yourself, so what does that say about you :mjlol:

of course a nikka nerd supports eugenics

Saw this post after I made the one above. Said it perfectly. I'd rather 'successful' people have children than some meth heads having 10 children they can't afford. But apparently that makes me elitist, dipping my toes into the ideology of eugenics.

cleaning up around the house during the day and taking care of the kids and going to work at night does not make someone a house husband

but if so, then I'm in the running as the GOAT :lawd:

how you got a better education than me, but are this damn dumb? how?

You're a house husband. Anything you say on this topic is null and void.

@Worthless Loser I have no desire to have children at the moment. Maybe once I find the right woman that might change. I wouldn't be averse to adopting ether. As it stands however, I'm happy being child free.

People go on and on and tell me how much joy children brings them but they spend 99% of their time complaining about how much they drain their time and money.

I don't doubt there is unconditional love between parents and their children but I can also see how much they can deplete from your lifestyle. There's nothing better right now than waking up every morning and only having to be responsible for myself. I'd be depressed if my disposable income had to go towards raising a child. I've seen the child support payments on some brehs' checks.:picard:

I am at the age were I can still have kids but also old enough to have friends with children in their early 20s. In addition I can also see how my parents generation treat their parents who are seniors and how my adult friends treat their parents.

And to be perfectly honest with you that shyt don't pay off a large percentage of the time. And a lot of those parents were good parents.

The thing about being a parent is that any imperfect in you manifests to a greater extent in the child. Not only that the children take everything personal into adulthood.

I know a woman who was a great mom with 6 kids. There father died before they reached adulthood but she did a good. She now has dementia and all but one just wants to stick her in a nursing home and go on with their lives. Mine you these folks got their inheritance early. shyt sad.

My interest in having children was curbed observing the reality of parenthood from start to finish

I don't see how people can possibly afford to have a gang of kids these days. Most people I know with kids are in debt or broke as hell.

I have a homegirl who is married and when she told me how much they pay for daycare for 1 kid. I'm like what the hell? Having kids is crazy expensive and it seems like society downplays the costs. Since they need people procreating to keep this fake economy afloat.

I've decided that I didn't want children from a young age. It was never my interest to be a mother. Nor do I want to have such responsibility.

No regrets.
So many women in their 40s I know of that wish they could have kids but now they aren't as fertile as they once were and not to mention the dangers of having kids at an older age. You better be sure before it's too late.

How many 40 approaching 50 actresses who come out later who said they regret putting their career first all the time and how they wish they had a family? :yeshrug:

Y'all better be fully committed to that spinster life if you wait too long.

Can you please elaborate on the boded? As a woman who’s been in the work force for a decent amount of time, I have never seen a time during my career, where a woman who sought to achieve certain positions in her career ever had to fall back just because she decides to have a family. Majority of companies have provisions for maternity leave and those women go back to work after having their children and continue with the same goals as before.
