I read a bunch of autobiographies and biographies on black musicians and athletes when I was younger. They were living CRAZY lives.

Smokey Robinson was RUNNING THROUGH HOES for like 15 years straight no fukks given.

Joe Jackson set up a system for groupies where a woman would have sex with Joe first, then Jackie, and then if the woman had anything left to give, Jermaine would get some.

Jackie, Jermaine, and Tito locked a 14 year old Michael in a hotel room with two hookers. Michael refused to have sex with them and when they opened the door Michael was reading them the bible out loud.
I gotta be honest. nikkas nowadays be doing the same exact shyt. Difference is since the digital era it makes it a lil harder to keep it low. But on the flip side it gives access to more hoes

Years later, I was directing Shakedown with Peter Weller. Weller liked Miles's music and I told him that story. One night he went to hear Miles. He went backstage where Miles recognized him and greeted him with, "Hey Robo."

Peter told him the story and asked if it was true.

Miles got real quiet and said, " I always wondered who that white mother ****er was. You thank him for me and tell him to come by anytime."

Look up “Ken Burns: Jazz”. Absolutely beautiful documentary on the history of Jazz.

Also consider another autobiography called “Thelonious Monk: The Life and Times of an American Original “. Monk and Miles are my personal favorites. Both of their books are excellent reads.
